A Special Message from the President and the Rabbi

Dear All:

We hope that you have noticed the sign on the directory board at the sanctuary entrance. It reminds us all  that Temple Sinai is Breaking New Ground! After three years in the planning stages , we are now renovating and renewing our auditorium, hallways, classrooms , and adding a new children's Library and youth lounge. The results will be strikingly beautiful and help to prepare our Congregation to continue its historic role as New Orleans' first Reform Jewish house of Prayer, Study and Assembly.

Many of your fellow Temple members have already stepped forward making pledges at all levels . The most important message to understand is that we need you and your family to support this vital campaign. Our fund raising goals are still not met and we need you and you family to make  your commitment to the campaign. Pledges are being made for over a five year period or more. Many exciting naming opportunities remain available at all levels.

In the future, when your children and grandchildren walk through the handsome halls of Temple Sinai, give them a reason to pause before the Wall of Honor and , with pride, take note that their family participated in this inspiring effort to assure the continued telling presence of this Jewish House of Prayer for all People. Let us hear from you today!
